The AIRE Center, the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Supreme Court of the Republika Srpska and the Court of Appeal of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, March 25, 2022, will hold the conference ” The fight against femicide in Bosnia and Herzegovina – international standards and jurisprudence of BH courts”. The conference will present the Analysis of Court Practices in the Prosecution of Femicide and Femicide Attempts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, prepared by the AIRE Center in cooperation with the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Srpska and the Court of Appeal of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The analysis offers an overview of the criminal law regulation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also a deeper insight into the occurrence of femicide and the actions of the institutions of the system in its prevention and prosecution.
